The most common misconception about AI in the workplace is that it's primarily a technical concern. That if you can't write code or train models, AI has limited relevance to your career.

- Anticipating objections (job replacement fears, accuracy concerns, cost) and addressing them credibly

Not as long as you'd think. None of these skills require a technical background. They require focused, practical learning — understanding concepts well enough to apply them, not memorizing definitions well enough to pass a test.
A realistic timeline for a non-technical professional starting from scratch:
- Week 1: Foundational AI literacy (what is AI, how does it work, key concepts)
- Week 2–3: Hands-on with major tools, building prompt instincts through repetition
- Month 2: Identifying and automating 2–3 recurring workflows
- Month 3: Enough fluency to explain, evaluate, and advocate within your team
